England, the Midlands, Wales and southwest England this morning all
associated with a weakening front. It may give some rain, most of
it light. Drier and muggy across eastern England. Fresher, brighter
weather follows the front into western Scotland and Ireland, although
scattered showers on western coasts and hills. The afternoon sees
the front slipping further east, triggering the threat of some thundery
bursts of rain along is, all the way from southern England, the Midlands
and into northeast England; the heavier bursts of rain should be well
spaced out. Staying dry and muggy in east Anglia and southeast England.
Sunnier skies in Scotland, Ireland, western Wales and southwest England
as the fresher air moves in here. isolated showers again in western
Scotland and western Ireland. Highs at 30C in southeast England, 17C
in Ireland and western Scotland.
